Competition Success at Brighton!

On Saturday 4th February 5 students at Isle of Wight BJJ competed at the BJJ 24\7 tournament in Brighton and came away with 8 medals!


The medal break down is as follows:


Lucy Idle competing in her 1st competition submitted her opponent to win gold!


Liam Bentley won silver in his gi weight division, Gold in the gi absolute and silver in the no gi division!


Adam Coates fought for the first time at purple belt and won Silver in his weight division and Silver in the gi absolute!


Robin Horner who in his 50's was merged in his division fighting against guys half his age and won Bronze!


Sam Goddard competed for the first time and won silver in his no gi division!


Well done guys! I'm super proud of you all!
